The Joined Underwing, or Stretch's Underwing (Catocala junctura) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from New York and Pennsylvania west to south-eastern British Columbia, Montana, Colorado and Arizona, north to extreme southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. Also recorded from California and Arizona.
The wingspan is 72-85 mm. Adults are on wing from July to September depending on the location. There is probably one generation per year.
The larvae feed on Populus fremontii and Salix species.
Catocala junctura augusta. Now considered a synonym.
